thehealthytwig asked: Hey! We're artists and working towards BFA! What school do you go to?
I go to a school in Kansas City. How about you, and what’s your major?
ok, so i’ve been asked a lot about my weight loss and i just wanted to post the most important thing i did to lose it all.
i watched what i ate.
it’s not really about working out.
it’s about limiting your caloric intake.
it’s about CONTROL.
Anonymous asked: i freak out after i eat, i stress out and think about purging and think i ruined everything and i get really depressed. when i eat i feel like i cant control myself and by the end of it im about to cry.
i try and have 1200 NET calories but i want to follow what you did. so im 5'6 and im currently 145 pounds and i want to be your weight, my first goal would be 130pounds though. please tell me everything you did, how many meals, what were they.
if i eat 1400 calories a day will i lose weight? how much exercise? i just want your opinion on everything seeing as though your so skinny now! thankyou xx
I track everything I eat on sparkpeople.com, I try to eat around 200-400 per meal and I eat 3 meals a day, along with a sweet treat (always under 100 cal) at the end of the day. So I usually aim for 1000-1200 calories. Try exercising at least 3-5 times a week. Bike, walk or run for 30 min and the weight will fall off.
As for the depression: think about the energy you’ve just consumed not the fat/calories. Use that energy to bike or participate in an active activity. are you binging? i’ve been fighting a binge disorder for about 3 months now and i finally have a hold on it.
Anonymous asked: Hey! I'm such a big biker as you are but I'm wondering how much miles you do per day?
1-13 miles!
Anonymous asked: Hi! I just wanted to let you know as someone who has been struggling with her weight for some time now your blog has truly inspired me. I was around 190 going into my 8th grade year and dieted and dropped to 170. Then from Freshman to Sophomore year I've climbed to 200. I carry my weight well and am confident in myself, but I want to lose weight to be healthier and just look all around even better than I feel I do. Congratulations on all of your hard work and thank you for putting up such a motivational blog!
oh wow. such a lovely comment. C:
best of luck on your weight loss journey love!
paledthoughts asked: Hi! I just found your blog and was going through it, and I noticed that you said you started losing weight by biking. That's actually my prime method of exercising as well! But since you've been doing it wayyy longer than I have (I just started last month), I just wanted to know if biking really has been the main exercise that made you lose the weight. And how long do you usually bike for, in an average exercise session?
My fitness/weightloss blog is fitforbeauty.tumblr, if you want to check it out :)
Great job on the weight loss btw! And good luck reaching your goals!!
biking is my main exercise! i also walk a ton and once in a great while i practice yoga, but biking has been my main man for a year and a half now. i bike everyday from anywhere 30 min to 3 hours a day.
biking has become my main transportation so i will bike anywhere i need to be as long as it’s under 10 miles.
thank you for your question. C:
best of luck and keep on biking!
Anonymous asked: how many calories did u eat a day?
i eat anywhere from 800-2,000. it depend on how hungry i am!
i tend to stick around 1,200-1,400 if I’m on a schedule.
carleeeee asked: Heyy I was just wondering what kid of exercise you do?
I bike and walk everywhere I go that’s under 10 miles from my apartment. It gets to be super time consuming and intense but it’s worth it! I tend to be on my bike at least 30 min to and hour a day and I’m walking anywhere from 1-3 hours a day. I also do a bit of yoga and stretching.
Anonymous asked: how did you get so thin? do you think you'll ever be happy with your weight? i'm 208 pounds, 5'6" and i desperately want to loose weight... but i don't want to develop some eating disorder either.
i’m happy with my weight now but having a goal to lose a little more helps to keep me on track. the best advice i can give you is to start tracking your intake. you’ll be surprised how many empty calories you may be consuming throughout the day. i started to track my intake onsparkpeople.com and found that i was 1. not getting enough protien(i’m also a vegetarian working on becoming a vegan) and 2. i was consuming extra calories that my body didn’t need. it really put things in perspective.
as for developing an eating disorder… just eat in the calorie rangesparkpeople provides for you and you’ll be fine. don’t obsess over food and try to distract yourself from food by hanging out with friends or picking up a new hobby. i’m an artist and whenever i feel the urge to late-night snack (which always turns into a binge), i pick up a sewing needle or a paint brush and i’m set for hours!
Anonymous asked: how long did it take you from you about 150 to 120?xx
8 months! that was this year… i started the school year in august at 148 and a size 12 and ended it at 118 and a size 4. i’ve never been so happy about the way i look.
fuuckkedup asked: how long did it take you to lose all your weight?
about a year and a half. the first year was the hardest; i only lost 40 lbs, but then i learned about sparkpeople.com and started tracking my calorie intake and the weight just fell off!
last night i binged again…
it was a little binge but a binge none-the-less.
to make up for it…
went for a 13.6 mile bike ride! HELL YEAH! C:
